An expert witness for forensic litigation support specializing in English Syntax & Linguistic Analysis Of Communication Content
By training and experience, I am a specialist in English syntax and linguistic analysis of communication content (i.e., content analysis). Formerly a university teacher, I am owner and principal researcher at the company, Media Analysis & Communications Research. My publications include a book and assorted articles in learned journals. I have been qualified as an expert on content analysis and have given testimony at trial and depositions.
My specialties include linguistic analysis of newspapers, television, books, letters, scripts, interviews, advertisements, catalogs, manuals, contracts, secretly taped conversations, other discourse, and more--to identify meanings, inferences, innuendoes, bias, damage to reputation, effectiveness of retractions, similarity to other documents, actual malice, copyright infringement, plagiarism, breach of contract, authorship, and fraud.
Documents are evaluated as to words, phraseology, grammar, syntax, rhetoric, juxtapositions, patterns, context, attributions, and other such factors of the linguistic environment.
Use for cases involving: libel, slander, invasion of privacy, prejudicial publicity, copyright infringement,
plagiarism, identification of authorship, interpretation of contracts, and criminal cases involving secretly taped conversations.
