Responsibilities included traffic collision analysis, supervision, and technical airborne operations.  Determined the factors causing traffic collisions.  Served on a covert narcotics multi-jurisdictional task force (LEOPARD).

Member and supervisor of the Traffic Services Unit.  Investigated serious and fatal collisions which involved collecting statements, finding witnesses, evaluating evidence, surveillance, and using scientific methods for reconstruction purposes.  Conducted criminal and internal investigation of employee misconduct.  Also worked with the media during major incidents, instructed officers in several law enforcement areas, supervised the Durham Police Reserve Unit, worked with citizen groups, and general employee administration.  Has been involved with field tests of automobiles in response to traffic collisions.
