I am a very experienced, well-versed cardiac surgeon who performs the full spectrum of cardiac surgery with excellent outcomes and am internationally reknowned for my expertise. I have held academic positions, most recently as the Chief of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to that, I was Director of the Mechanical Circulatory Support and Heart Transplantation Program at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland. I am well published in cardiac surgery, and serve as Deputy Editor of the Number 1 cardiothoracic surgery website, CTSNet.org. Annually, I have been a frequent presenter at multiple national and international meetings. In addition, I run several websites dedicated towards teaching other surgeons and health care professionals about cardiac surgery. My websites include narrated operative videos; my Youtube site alone has had close to 2 million views.
